Time to Move forward!
After several months of work on details for our IRS 501(c)(3) application, we submitted it just after our Spring Meetup event. We received our letter less than a month later, and are happy to announce that our application was accepted!
This means we are now able to accept tax-deductible donations from our supporters, in addition to our now tax-deductible memberships. Our status as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization means that doors to funding sources for our organizational initiatives have also opened, and we are very excited to move forward and pursue new funding.
