Erin Hogan

Erin Noel Hogan is a textile artist and seamstress from Athens, Ohio. Erin studied theater costume at Ohio University and has a background in small-scale market gardening. You may know her from her five years as a librarian at the Athens Public Library or through her fabric sculpture. Erin’s upcycled fabric and wire sculptures of dragons have appeared in exhibitions at The Dairy Barn Arts Center, Purple Chopstix, and the Parkersburg Art Center. 

As the new creative director for Seriously Sick Socks Studios, Erin hand sculpts creatures from upcycled socks. She currently serves as a cell leader and a sewist on the clothing production line at the Hocking Hills Garment Center. She is passionate about growing and using natural dye plants and relocalizing the linen industry.
